I have known these children for years and regardless of whether they are hanging out at home, the hockey rink or around town they are absolute angels! Today was no exception. Both Mr. M and Miss A brought their best smiles, giggles and dimples out for today’s session as per usual, and I enjoyed every second of it! Although I must admit that I am so used to chasing and tackling lil ones over the course of a session that I couldn’t believe how quickly we progressed through our session together!
It was such a treat to finally photograph this family. They are true northerners, high school sweethearts from Yellowknife’s own Sir John Franklin High School who recently celebrated their 11 year anniversary. During our session we were even able to make it to the dock where Diana and Trevor were married! Mom, Diana, may look familiar to some of you. That is because she is none other than Diana Curtis of Diana Curtis Designs. She always amazes me. She is one of those people who gets an incredible amount of stuff done in a day, including steering an award-winning graphic design company, running, baking, and volunteering for her children’s extracurricular activities. All that and she is still one of the happiest people I know!Â
Thank you for a wonderful session together. Diana your success and balance is an absolute inspiration. All the best.
