Amazing. Incredible. Elated. Satisfied. Sore.
That is how I felt after I photographed Gilbert and his gorgeous eight-months pregnant wife, Shannon. Amazing because Shannon and Gilbert arrived as two open books, ready to try anything I wanted- and try we did! Incredible because it felt so easy and liberating to photograph this couple. Elated because it was inspiring to see a couple so perfectly matched- he joked, she laughed; she smiled, he smiled in return; she put her arms up, and he was already there to help her. Satisfied because yet again I spent time with a couple I was lucky enough to hear about before meeting and had a great time getting to know as we captured such a special time in their lives. And sore, because Gilbert is absolutely hilarious (my cheeks hurt from smiling and my stomach hurt from the giggles!).
