When friends tell you they are “game for whatever” during their photography session- you jump! So this cute couple came over to spend time with my husband and I before heading out on the town for a midnight session. Given that we live in the land of the midnight sun, we hung out until 1:30 a.m. waiting for ‘dark-dark’ to come… but gave up at a darkish looking dusk… Not the same kind of night-shooting I was treated to in B.C. (see Out There Photography post) but the ‘dark-dark’ nights of August are a little bit of good fishing, great shooting and giant mosquitos away!
In the mean time we will need to settle for these darkish images of midnight love… Thanks Danielle and Garet- you’re both troopers to have braved the middle of the night characters and the crisp wind!
